Spring has Arrived at Fishmore Hall
Fishmore Hall in Ludlow, Shropshire has announced its spring calendar of events to be held at the Georgian countryside hotel throughout April and May.
Fishmore Hall is a fine Georgian property overlooking the beautiful town of Ludlow, Shropshire. With stunning views across the lush countryside, the hotel offers guests 15 contemporary-styled bedrooms all with superb bathrooms. The hotel restaurant prides itself on featuring locally-sourced produce, and was awarded runner up for their Sunday lunch at the Observer Food Awards in 2009.
In April Fishmore Hall will be inviting guests to take a day off to relax with the girls at their ‘Make-Over Day for a New You!’ On Friday 23rd April image expert Sue Trevaskis will be at the hotel to teach you how to boost your looks so that you can look your best every day of the week. There will also be an opportunity to buy the makeup that suits you and enjoy either a manicure or pedicure with one of the experienced beauty therapists. Doors open at 10.30am with lunch at 12.30pm. Tickets cost £38 including a treatment, make up talk and demonstration, lunch and a glass of wine. Tickets without a treatment cost £25.
On Thursday 13th May Fishmore Hall will be joining in the build up to the World Cup by celebrating some of South Africa’s superb wine variations at their Paul Clüver wine dinner. Wine expert John Stock will take you south to explore the fabulous Paul Clüver Wines from the family-run De Rust Estate. Liesl Clüver Rust, sister of Paul Clüver IV will be at the hotel to give guests a firsthand insight into this famous vineyard. The Wine Dinner starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £50 including reception drinks and canapés, four course dinner, wine and coffee.
Gardeners World presenter and award winning gardener Carol Klein will also be stopping off at Fishmore Hall on Friday 14th May for a special lunch on her way to the Chelsea Flower Show. Carol will be talking about her new book Grow Your Own Garden: How to Propagate All Your Own Plants, as well as sharing her own gardening tips. Lunch starts at 12pm and tickets cost £39.95 for a single ticket and £66.90 per couple, all prices include a two-course lunch with a glass of wine on arrival and a copy of Carol’s new book.
Fishmore Hall will also be showcasing its new wedding partnership with Ludlow Castle at their Wedding Fayre on Sunday 16th May. This will give future couples the chance to view the gorgeous Georgian property, meet the dedicated Fishmore Hall team and discuss plans for that special day.
