Spring Antiques and Vintage Weekend at Oswestry Showground

Situated in 37 rolling acres in the heart of Shropshire, Oswestry Showground is the home of Amulet Fairs.

Established 11 years ago, the Oswestry Antique and Vintage Weekend has gained a reputation second to none for quality, affordability and a warm and friendly welcome. Amulet Fairs are delighted to launch their first fair of the year at Oswestry. Three massive halls filled with stalls selling a huge range of antiques, collectables and vintage items plus a dedicated furniture hall packed with furniture dating from the 17th century to 1960s kitsch. There are acres of outside stalls selling antiques, architectural salvage and an eclectic mix of interesting collectable and decorative items.

You can certainly spend a whole day browsing over 200 stalls and there are many opportunities to sample a huge assortment of refreshments ranging from homemade cakes and sandwiches to a choice of freshly prepared cooked meals all at reasonable prices. With affordable entrance costs, free admittance for children, disabled access and parking and a dog friendly environment, Amulet Fairs make this an event that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

As a regular home for Bargain Hunt, Amulet Fairs are delighted to announce that the Bargain Hunt team will be filming again this year - June 10th and 11th- so if you're a keen follower of the programme, come and watch these episodes being filmed - you never know - you might be caught on camera! After the success of Amulets new Oswestry Street Market over the last 2 years-2 more are planned for 2017 on

May 12th and August 11th. With over 30 stalls set up in the market square and surrounding streets it is a great attraction for the town and gives visitors an opportunity to see a wide range of interesting items - there has been a market on this site since 1190 and the setting in the heart of medieval Oswestry is a perfect venue for browsing through items from the past.
