The Dorothy Clive Garden Extends Hours for Late Spring Opening
The Dorothy Clive Garden will be hosting six late evening openings commencing on Tuesday 24th May 2011.
The garden opening hours will be extended to 9.00pm on Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th, Thursday 26th and Tuesday 31st May as well as Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd June.
Visitors can delight in the intimate and informal gardens set amidst glorious countryside, where plants, shrubs and flowers such as aquilegias, viburnums, delphiniums, alliums and emerging roses are plentiful.
Deputy Curator, Margaret Barry, said, ‘For those who are busy working during the day, our late spring openings offer a perfect time to come and enjoy the glorious colours of late spring. Our garden tea room is also open, offering a full range of hot and cold homemade food.’
The garden will be open from 10.00am until 9.00pm and the entrance fee will be at the normal rate of £6.00 for adults, £5.00 for pensioners and free for children 18 and under.
