The hugely popular Brick History exhibition has broken visitor figure records at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery. 18,697 people visited between 12 February and 15 April 2018 to be taken on a journey through 13.8 million years of history portrayed in Lego bricks.

This year’s Shrewsbury International Cartoon Festival offers a whole truckload of cartooning as we tackle the theme of Transport and say, ‘Are we nearly there yet?’. We will be showcasing contributions from cartoonists from Belgium, Germany, France, Australia, the USA, Tanzania, Romania, Ireland and the UK plus a volunteer from Taiwan.

The first Flicks in the Sticks film is to be shown at Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre this April. After securing LEADER funding for developing the offer of their exhibition, the rotunda (where the balloon film used to be) was refurbished to include a levelled floor, a top of the range projector and a new cinema screen.
