Oswestry Volunteers help town prepare for Britain in Bloom Judging in

Volunteers from Sainsbury’s in Oswestry are helping the town’s In Bloom Committee prepare for their judging on July 21st.

Louise Humphreys, Admin and Services Officer for Oswestry Town Council explained, “The Sainsbury’s volunteers are helping with weeding, litter picking and so on, to make sure that Oswestry looks its best. We have won a gold award for the last 6 years and won the town category of Britain in Bloom in 2005. Now we’re in the ‘large town’ category so the competition is fiercer but we are all hoping to make Oswestry proud!”
