New Website for Shropshire Self Catering Accommodation

New Website for Shropshire Self Catering Accommodation

Holly Cottage in Lower Wood, near Church Stretton has just launched a new website aimed at encouraging visitors to the self catering accommodation.

Owned and run by proprietors Lisa and Phil Ryan, Holly Cottage is located in the heart of the Shropshire Hills.

Funded by the Shropshire Sustainable Tourism Business Grant, the new website has been designed and developed by Shrewsbury based business Shropshire Tourism. Focusing on highlighting the accommodation on offer for potential visitors to the area, it includes features such as an availability system and guest comments page.

Commenting Lisa Ryan from Holly Cottage said, “I am thrilled with the new website. It is exactly what I had hoped for. The website is just one of the new marketing initiatives that I have put into place following a review of the business and it’s activities. I wanted to understand where and how to direct my marketing spend and approached Shropshire Tourism to undertake a marketing review of the business for me. This has proved invaluable and has enabled me to put the suggested recommendations into place including a new website.”

As well as offering accommodation, Lisa, a fitness instructor, is also currently working in conjunction with a local riding instructor to provide a series of residential and non-residential short courses to introduce fitness pilates for horse riders. A new concept for Shropshire, the courses are due to start in the summer.
