Classic car day is back again

A farm shop near Bridgnorth is holding its seventh annual classic motor day on Sunday July 15th. All classic & vintage cars & motorbikes are invited to be on display at Apley Farm Shop, with prizes awarded at 2pm. It’s a free event – free for cars to register & free for anyone to come & admire them.

In 2017, a record nearly 200 cars & over 1000 people attended. Over the 7 years it has been running, we have welcomed a Delorean, a Panther Kallista, a VW Schwimmwagen & a host of jaguars, MGs, Morgans, TVRs, Triumphs, VW Beetles & campavans.

Lord Hamilton added “It’s a great occasion for local enthusiasts to show off their classic vehicles & share their passion.”

General Manager John Wesley began “This has been such a popular event growing year on year. Car owners started registering their cars in July last year!”

Lady Harriet Hamilton began “We’ve got the perfect ingredients for a great summer Sunday - classic vehicles of all kinds, an Apley Estate barbecued beef burger, locally made cold beer & Churchfields’ icecream from Worcestershire.”

Lady Hamilton continued “Our Classic Motor Day has always proved to be a great day out for all ages. This year, for the first time ever at Apley, we’ve been growing a maize maze. Depending on the weather, we’re expecting it to open on Saturday 28 July.

We expect many children will want to make a day out of it & try the Maize Maze, bale tunnel, tyre mountain, visit Scotty’s Donkeys & Animal Park. If that’s not enough, Paint & Create’s pottery painting & craft studio is in the centre of our lovely shopping courtyard.

Classic Motor Day runs 10-4pm. Parking & entry is free. Charges may apply to certain activities.

To register your classic vehicle, visit, call 01952 581 002, text or call 07739 320 314. Or email

Tickets for the Maize Maze are open, so they can be used on any day, but once only. Joint tickets are available for the maze, Scotty’s Animal Park & Pigg’s Playbarn.
